my sweet mor mor, old lady, morgan, mar mar, grandma dog.... is gone. she was so tired. she was only holding on for her family. almost 16 years with us and i dont think she wanted all of us to be sad by her giving up. she was the best dog ever. i say that in all honesty. i dont remember a single thing she did wrong in 16 years. she was born in Clearfield.. she lived in 7 houses with us. traveled all over the country. raised her sweet Neige to be a good dog. she took care of me when i got divorced, slept by me when i was sick, followed me around the house like i was her best friend. she wagged her tail constantly, barked for treats, and loved to drink water. she loved to swim *in her younger days... loved her family... loved to sleep.. to lay in the sun... to go on walks .. she loved ham.. and all kinds of meat. . she loved neige. she loved her bed and to be pet on the head. ... and lived on love! she loved her family so much. her age really caught up with her the last month. . . and it was hard to watch her struggle... she always put on a happy face for us. never complained and loved to make us happy. i will miss her. i feel relieved that she is not hurting. but miss her already. we are burying her in a sweet little dedicated pet cemetery in Ogden. she will have a head stone and everything. to show how much she was loved and how important she was. the vet that put her to sleep let my mom, dad, and lindsay sit with her while they gave her the shot.... she was so weak she couldnt even hold her head up. . . she had no food for probably 2 days and was just exhausted. the vet's office was really nice and said they would lay her on her bed and wrap her up in her favorite blanket after we left. i was not able to go see them put her down. i said my good bye at home. i was too sad (amplified by pregnancy hormones).. and really think i would not have been able to handle it. i will miss her sweet bark, her smell, her always coming up to me wanting to be pet, the sound of her walking around on the floor, and watching her run around the back yard. my sweet grandma dog. :)
