Kim's Ramblings...... and so ons: baby

what a day. i cant believe im even attempting to blog at this point. today was ange's shower! it was so great! she is such a wonderful friend. . . i truly believe we were meant to meet! a few years ago when i met her..., i was dealing with my divorce and she was dealing with a bad break up. we were insta friends. and we have never looked back. we have been through so much together and i feel like i have always had her in my life. .. we have lived together, dated lots of different boys, spent many many many hours talking, speak to each other at least 4 times a day, and now get to raise our little boys together. !!! they will be instant best friends! i like to imagine them discussing their choice to come down to earth at the same time. .
i found out i was pregnant on Dec 15th. .. it was ... a totally scary, shocking, emotional, intimidating time in my life. Ange was the first person i told. i was scared out of my mind. . i had only dated Asher's dad for a few months.. 7 weeks later... after i moved back home and we moved Ange into her apt down town. . . we were unpacking her apt and she said she felt weird. . . and crazy as it is.. she was pregnant! her and Pat were so cute.. ! i swear it had to have been in the water at the Turnberry Apartment complex. how in the world?!!!!

so... i truly believe we were meant to be friends. meant to be best friends. meant to have our little boys at the same time. something that was not planned.. has brought us even closer together.. *(if possible). we have been able to share our pregnancies together!

Ange's story turned out a little different than mine. she was dating a great guy. they were married. he adores her. she adores him. they are so happy. he is wonderful and will make a wonderful dad. . he makes her happy and takes care of her in every way! *i dont think i need to point out the differences in my story!:__) two people. nearly identical situations. and two very different out comes. BUT the most important thing... we both get a sweet little boy . .

i could not be happier for her. she is so important to me. i can NOT wait to meet her little boy. and have Asher's best friend here safe and sound. . . to hold and cuddle and enjoy!
i can NOT wait to see my best friend become a mom. she will be amazing.

So.... anyway. her shower was so great. so fun. her family was there. our friends were there. my family was so much help. i could not have pulled it off with out them. it was a lot of work!! thank goodness for Linds who watched baby Asher for me while i ran crazy today getting it all ready!~ i started this post with the pic of my hard earned sunflowers. i spent an hour in a field by my house.. covered in sticklers.. picking wild sunflowers. *(worst idea i have had!)
