halloweener

well. our halloween did NOT turn out as planned. i have the swine flu, or a sinus infection, or something of the sort... but really WHO knows because mommy doesnt have health insurance right now:) thats right.. took too long on maternity leave apparently and lost my health benefits for a while. that'll show me to take 12 weeks off as a single mom after a c-section. geez

anyhow..

we carved pumpkins

{devil pig, "H1N1", puke (mine).. we had a family theme}

and got in our monkey costume for about 3 1/2 minutes before the crying/meltdown (asher.. not me) simply became too much for me to handle with "medicine head"...
and the weekend just got progressively worse from that point on:)
ah...
thank you rising sun.. for the chance and change of a new day. a fresh start.

thank you sweet baby for letting me hold your hand at night when your asleep for as long as i want.

thank you Asher Liam for your adorable morning smiles
... that speak to mommy's heart and seem to say.
"hey mom.. its ok that you are really poor, dont feel bad. ... and its ok that you cant fit into your jeans, and are breaking out all over your chin, i love you. your my world."

O. and thank you dimple (shown in last picture).. for making me anticipate every facial expression Asher pulls.. in shear hope that i get to catch a glimpse of you

next halloween will be better.

Kim I feel for you about being sick! I was on my death bed on Halloween too! I should have gone to the doctors but who has the time when you have to take care of you little one and that uses up all your energy. Hope you start to feel better. Asher is so stinking cute when he smiles and how he lets you hold his hand all night. That's so adorable.

Feel better Kim! You should just walk around everywhere with one of those flu masks. And gloves for that matter. But a smiley face on the mask (i really saw that on someone at wal mart) and not for halloween :)

Anyway, feel better!
