sunday i went to the instacare. yuck. how is it that i get sick every other week. i dont understand it. a chest xray reveled a nice right anterior upper lobe pneumonia. cool.

taking care of a jumping, laughing, non sick, 7 month old in addition to having a fever of 102.2.. is a whole new ball game...

in my attempt to stay sane

i am trying to consciously focus on the happy and good

-Ash's adorable shiny 2 bottom teeth. sooooo cute.. he loves to chew on things (including mom's fingers)



-losing 6 pounds. woo woo.. though 6 pounds feels like nothing when you have 50ish to lose.



-watching the Oscars.. i ♥ Colin Firth, Tom Ford, and Sandra Bullocks acceptance speech (though i dont particularly like her as an actress).. ahhh the Oscars.. the lights .. the dresses... the beautiful people..



-Mya's asian speak. SUCH a sweet little voice. i love her little conversations... .. with such a serious face..



-Tru finally making his 7lb 7oz debut.. i havent heard details yet... because he just came a few hours ago... but im sure he is perfection. and i cant wait to meet him. i cant believe mommy alicia is finally a mommy.



-Asher's clingyness. i know my mistakes; never letting him cry for longer than 30 seconds, constantly holding him, etc etc etc... he is a "sensitive susan"... a "nancy boy". he cries when he cant see mom .. though i am never more than 5 feet away... he is shy. and sweet. and i love that he is a momma's boy... i know i should figure out how to toughen him up.. so he can be a big strong man.... but right now i like .. no LOVE... that he is only comforted by his mothers touch.



-Jared:: sitting with me at the Dr's for almost 2 hours, making ash bottles because i am just TOO tired to get up and do it, bringing me food, candy, diet coke, lounging around with me for all hours of the day, letting me go to bed early... though i know he would love to stay over at my house late, .. texting me when im in the same room as him to tell me im beautiful and he loves me... putting Mya in outfits he thinks Kim will like... always letting me watch what i want to watch on tv.. etc. i ♥ him.



-over paying on a medical bill.. and getting a $80 check in the mail



-my work girls. how is it fair that i get to work with the most hilarious, kindest, smartest women in the world?!



-snow. i know. boo right? ! im sorry but i love snow. i like the white fluffy stuff all over the place! i am not a summer girl.



-talking about the Church with Jared. answering his questions, telling him my experiences, my feelings. im doing my best to explain ... and answer correctly. im grateful he respects me and has an open heart.
