i have noticed.. (after Jamie's comment).. that i really dress Asher in stripes WAY too much. i just cant help it. he looks so darn handsome in them!

{dont you just want to eat those chubby cheeks!)

Today.. was Asher's first taste of grown up food. . . if you can call single grain rice cereal mixed with soy milk.. "grown up"


I wanted to wait a little longer. but he is constantly eating his hands.. so i feel like he is maybe ready. not to mention he did THIS... when i put the spoon in his hands. :)

o motherhood. its such an adventure. i love being his mom. .
i love feeding him rice cereal.
i love cuddling him .
i love kissing him.
i love changing his diaper (weird!? he just smiles so big when the air hits his butt).
i love giving him his bath.
i love talking to him about my work day.
i love explaining christmas decorations to him .. though he has no clue what "bulbs" & "snowmen" are.
i love taking naps with him.
i love getting him dressed.
i love how much he ADORES his grandma and grandpa.
i love how much his Aunt Lindsay looks forward to seeing him after school.
i love watching and listening to him eat his hands.
i love his talking.
i even mildly like how cute his screaming cry is.
i love being his mommy.
i love him.
