my little "boogie" turned 2 on 2/12.

she is growing up so fast.

we had a great day. her and Ash went to The Wild Child for lots of jumping and playing.

then we went to Jared's moms house for cake, pizza, and gifts.

Her exact birth time. 1:02 am. does it make us bad parents that we snuck into her room to take her picture in the middle fo the night :)

Hands down asher's favorite toy there.. Grandpa Jeff (i guess both his grandpa's are Jeff..) pushed him around for a long time and he was in heaven.

Mya at 2 years old:

Favorite food- Cheese, yogurt, nuts, oranges, milk, apples, beanie weenie, vienna sausages, cookies, any gummy candy.

Vocabulary consists of- no, geeky, mom, mommy, thank you, here you go, goggy (daddy), ne (neige), peepee, puppy, kitty, monkey, book, coat, cow, baby, shoe, baba (sippy), ya, fishy, go go go, button, pretty, night night and my personal favorite; mommy why?

loves loves loves books. her favorite thing in the world.!! hands down. ! she could read all day. she jibber jabbers and really thinks she is reading.

loves puppies and kitty cats.

does not like to let geeky (asher) out of her sight....

LOVES her grandmas. she goes straight for my mom or jared's mom in a crowded room.

she is such a mommy. she holds her baby doll close to her and goes "oh baby", tries to feed her a bottle, tries to put diapers on her. helps me whenever asher cries... she brings him his sippy or strokes his head. she is always trying to take care of him!-today i gave him tylenol which he HATES.... and mya sat next to him on the floor stroking his hair to comfort him. :)

sleeping in her big girl bed... the first few nights were rough... she kept getting out and walking around her room. but she is adjusting nicely.

loves movies, cartoons, and anything pixar or animated. her favorite movie is UP. with Monsters Vs Aliens as a close second. even though mom fast forwards the sad parts.. and dad doesnt.. (i seriously think it is the most emotional movie).

wants to walk everywhere... and thinks she is independent in public places.

wears 2t shirts, and 24 month pants. size 4 diapers. is the same height as asher. size 5 1/2 shoes. wears her hair in pig tails.

has what we call a "tude". she has the attitude of a 13 year old. says "no" like its going out of style.

talks constantly, loves getting her teeth brushed, hates getting her hair brushed, tells us when she pee's in her diaper, and thinks bath time is splash time.

gives THE BEST kisses and hugs. she holds the back of jared's head when she kisses him. it is darling. she gives me hugs when she is sitting in the front of the grocery cart. tonight she gave me probably 25 hugs during our 20 minute trip to Walmart.

has not had her hair cut yet, just trimmed her bangs. her hair is getting so long, and has the sweetest curl at the end. perfect pig tail hair.

she loves her daddy like crazy!

Mya is the happiest little girl. i feel so lucky to get to hang out with her all the time. i feel privileged to be a mother figure in her life. i am so thankful for her. i feel like she was always meant to be my daughter and my life would be incomplete with out her. Asher loves her SO much and looks to her for everything. i dont remember life with out her and i love that her and i are about to be out numbered by the boys in our family (once elliot arrives).
