Organize 2012

Busy busy little bee's we are.......

Organization 2012 has commenced. and is nearing its end.

{all file cabinets labeled and cleansed of clutter}{ps jared got me an amazing label maker for Christmas. i LOVE it}}

{organized, alphabetized the baby food. im pathetic}

{10 frozen freshly prepared crockpot dinners. best idea EVER!}

some money saving/silly things i am doing to help prepare for baby #4 and to save our $$$$ as well as get organized::

1) making my own fabric softener. i am kind of a laundry snob. but truthfully the homemade stuff vs store bought softener is leaps and bounds BETTER! smells great and costs about $1.50 a large bottle

2)meal planning...... thus the crock pot pre made meals...... if i dont meal plan... i stand in front of the pantry for hours trying to figure out what to make for dinner

3)ok.. now these are weird. to some people. but to me its being frugal:) i dont buy expensive Bath & Body foaming hand soap even though i LOVE it.... i get the cheap antibacterial dial... put it in the pump bottle and it comes out foamy... saves me lots of $$....

-also... i do the same with dish soap. lets face it.. i am ALWAYS washing dishes. i buy expensive antibacterial dish soap and mix it half and half with the cheapest soap i can find at the dollar store.

4)speaking of the dollar store.... I am buying all of my office needs {envelopes, pens, crayons, storage bins, Mya hair bands and hair spray, batteries,etc} from dollar tree. aint no shame in the frugal game:)

5)all light bulbs have been switched to energy friendly and $ saving

6) i bulk laundry. never do small loads. if im going to use the energy i am going to wash a TON of things at once

7)still couponing. though i have not been as good lately since my stock pile turned out to be more like a 3 yr stock rather than 1 yr.. i feel set for a few months

8)Huggies Enjoy The Ride Rewards enjoytheriderewards.com- i go through 2-3 packs of huggies every 2 weeks. even though Mya is completely POTTY TRAINED -- can i get a woot woot!

9)coupons for maternity clothes;) target has the best ones

10)decrease our use of energy.... tv is off most of the day if i can help it..... dishwasher is run only 2x a week..... windows wide open to heat the house during the day and make the furnace work less, bathe all THREE kids together (gross? or genius?... its not like they are dirty.. saves me time and hot water:), microwave when it is an option .... use the oven as little as possible (ie crockpot).... 

well......... those are my silly budget tips. they may seem silly but when you have a VERY small almost non-t budget... you think of EVERYTHING you can to save pennies.
