i really enjoyed this movie. i know its kinda lame to post about a movie. ... especially an Angelina Jolie movie. its just i really really enjoyed this. its not exactly uplifting. but very interesting.
it is about a single mom who's son disappears. she spends months looking for him only to be given the WRONG child by the LA police dept. when she claimed it was the wrong child the police threw her in an insane asylum and stopped looking for her actual son. the movie is not only a loving story of a mother looking for her son, but about the corruption of the LAPD in the 1920's and 30's. i thought it was a good one. it does turn out to be quite disturbing. . . but i have never enjoyed watching Angelina Jolie as much as i did in this film. i think she was amazing. It is a true story.... that made it all the more interesting and a bit MORE disturbing.

Is it have anything to do with that scary movie changling where the boy had a huge inheiritance if he lived to a certain age and he was really, really sick and wouldnt live so they told everyone they were going to New York to some fancy doctor there and then really drowned him and went to New York and came back with another boy same age to take his place saying that the doctor healed him so they could get the money??? I always wondered that but couldnt bring myself to watch the movie if it was the same...I had nightmares for weeks haha!! Glad it was fairly good, though. Maybe I'll go watch it anyway!
